Today, we would like to share our experience of another Data Analysis Training done in Financial Sector company in Noida.
The training was sponsored by respected Director, COO and HR Head of this company.
This was two days training attended by around 20 – 22 participants from the company. The people were from Noida & Mumbai from different departments like Finance & Accounts, Customer Service, Customer Retention, Sales & Marketing, Administration, etc..

Major benefits realized by the company and its employee are :-
On day 1, we started the session by understanding the participants current challenges in Microsoft Excel so that we could modulate our training style which they could grab the learning easily.
- Then we proceeded with basic formulas like Sum, Average, Max, Min, Countif, IF statements.
- They found VLOOKUP function very useful for their work.
- We did some Tax Calculation and Bank Deposits interest calculation with the help of relative and absolute referencing. Which saved their time doing repeated calculation every time.
- They also learnt how to use formulas on the data by referencing different Worksheets.

On day 2, they learnt how to convert their raw data into presentable graphs & charts.
You must be aware it’s a known fact. “A picture is worth a thousand words”
- Then we shared how to automate data Identification based on some criteria with Conditional Formatting. This also helped them find duplicate values in Data Set.
- Pivot Table reduced their 1 week Job to 3 or 4 days task saving their 3 days on that particular task.
- We also made some Charts and Graphs straight from Summary Data generated by Pivot Tables.
- Pivot Tables, if understood well, makes your job easier by making your Week or Days of work to Minutes.
In addition to the committed agenda the participants showed need of covering some Financial Analysis Functions like : PMT, Goal Seek which we prepared thoroughly when we went back home and covered on day 2 Session.
We covered PMT, PPMT, IPMT, Goal Seek, Scenario Manager and Data Table.
This extra effort on our part was so much appreciated by them. We felt encouraged to see them happy.

We also shared Google Drive and how they can exploit its features free of cost to make their business operations better.
We also offered them few days post training support, in case they have any doubt when they apply the new knowledge in their work they can call or email us for support.
